In-home Feeding Therapy
We take a whole team approach and are always happy to collaborate with professionals (e.g., school, doctors, other therapists, etc) that play an important role in your child’s life. Services are provided in your child’s natural environment (e.g., home or school).
Our Approach
Feeding therapy takes place in your home or child’s school. We work with a variety of feeding, swallowing, sensory and oral-motor needs.
Initially a feeding and oral-motor evaluation will take place. We look at the whole child when determining the best treatment plan for your child. If treatment is warranted we may use any combination of the following approaches in treating your child and helping them to expand their foods:
- Feed The Peds
- Sequential Oral Sensory (S.O.S.)
- Food Chaining
- Talk Tools Sensori-motor approach to feeding
- Beckman Oral Motor
- and More!
Our Goal
Our goal is to expand your child’s food intake at their own pace. We work with you to determine which foods you would like to introduce or re-introduce into your child’s diet. With your child’s help we make accepting new foods fun again! Please note: we do not believe in force-feeding any child.
Insurance
Little Sprout Therapy & Metro Myo is an out-of-network provider. Our services are often covered by out-of-network benefits. We recommend that you contact your insurance company before starting services to learn how much your particular plan will reimburse you. You will be provided with an itemized bill that includes all necessary information, including diagnostic and treatment codes.
