In-home Occupational Therapy
We take a whole team approach and are always happy to collaborate with professionals (e.g., school, doctors, other therapists, etc) that play an important role in your child’s life. Services are provided in your child’s natural environment (e.g., home or school).
Our Approach
Our occupational therapists focus on helping children develop sensory and motor foundations necessary to master developmental tasks, promote adaptive skills, and achieve independence in self-care tasks (dressing, feeding, hygiene, routines). Our therapists use fun, purposeful, goal directed activities to facilitate growth and development. The therapist uses the child’s own intrinsic motivation to engage in purposeful and meaningful activities. Services aim to improve skills in the following areas:
