Song/Nursery Rhyme of the Week
“Little Gray Mouse Loves Strawberries”
Little gray mouse sees one that’s ripe.
Little gray mouse loves strawberry, strawberry.
Little gray mouse has quite a fright.
Little gray mouse gives half to me.
Little gray mouse loves strawberry, strawberry.
Little gray mouse rests dreamily.
Red and sweet.
See all my seeds
And my top so neat. When I grow ripe
And ready to eat,
Pop off my top;
For a yummy treat.
S for Strawberry
“Every letter makes a sound, S says Sss!”
Snack of the Week
Mice-Berry
Wash and remove the green top of the strawberry.
Cut little slits in the top and insert sliced almonds.
Use shredded cheese/string cheese for the tail.
And there you have it! A mouse-berry for a delicious snack!
Tell them that this will disguise them from the big hungry bear!
Help your child cut holes for the eyes, nose and mouth.
While you may help them with scissor skills/cutting, be sure to let your child decorate the mask on their own!
or farm and go berry picking!
